PEPEROMIA OBTUSIFOLIA
Pepper Face/ Baby Rubber Plant

The Peperomia Obtusifolia is an epiphytic plant species that is native to South America. In the wild, it can be found growing in high humidity forests.

This plant grows full and bushy in appearance. It has thick glossy leaves. Some varieties have yellow/gold markings on the leaves.

This plant appreciates bright indirect sunlight but direct sun should be avoided. Place it close to a window that receives good light for several hours per day.

Peperomias are sensitive to overwatering. Make sure to water only when the topsoil is dry to the touch, about once per week. If you notice leaves falling off, this is likely due to overwatering.

Use a good quality well-draining soil that contains peat moss and perlite. This will allow for good drainage but will also help the soil to retain moisture.

Fertilize during the growing period (Springtime) with a diluted liquid fertilizer once per month.

Non-toxic to cats and dogs.
