Anthurium plants tolerate all levels of indirect light but those growing in low light will have  slower growth and fewer flowers. Do not expose plant to  direct light as this can burn the leaves. Anthuriums grow best in bright, indirect light.

 

Make sure to use a soil mixture that provides good drainage but will also retain moisture.   If you are growing this plant as a houseplant use half and half mix of potting soil and orchid soil or perlite.  

 

Anthuriums do not  like continually moist soil. Make sure to water your anthurium plant regularly, but don’t over water as this can cause root rot.  Only water your anthurium when the soil is dry to the touch.

 

Fertilize monthly during the Spring and Summer months.
