KALANCHOE BLOSSFELDANA
Flaming Kate / Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe Blossfeldiana is a flowering perennial that produces bright , colourful  clusters of flowers that can last several weeks.   The flowers can come in various shades of red, white, pink, orange and yellow.

This succulent loves warm weather, bright direct or indirect light and  requires water only once the soil has completely dried out (about every 1-2 weeks, depending on climate).

Use well-draining, sandy-type soil, such as cactus soil for potting.

You don't need to fertilize the plant while it is in bloom.   Once the blooms have faded or wilted off, then you fertilize the plant with a regular houseplant fertilizer.

Do not throw out the plant  once the bloom die off. Instead  simply trim off the dead blooms and wait for new blooms to appear.   The more sunlight you give your Kalanchoe, the faster it will  bloom.
