Commonly called the lifesaver plant or little owl eyes, this is possibly the most popular huernia due to it's unique and beautiful flowers. As with all plants in this family, these are very easy to care for and when they produce flowers it is pinterest worthy.
Huernia zebrina grows in short (up to about 5 cm tall) spikey fingers and fills in thickly over time. They need variation in temperature to flower and cannot withstand overwatering, so they are best placed on a sheltered patio that receives bright, indirect light or partial shade during the hottest times of the day.
NOTE: Plants shipped typically will not be flowering. The flower in the picture is to show what you can expect when this plant flowers. Good long term care and proper conditions are usually required for this plant to flower.
