This year has been filled with so many great things, amazing plants, fun adventures, and wonderful people. We have collected for you, some of our best moments from 2019. As we look back at these wonderful memories, we look forward to the new year, to growing, and sharing many more wonderful memories with our team members, our customers and students and the plant community!

1. Peruvian Cactus. This year we were delighted to have obtained a few cuttings of this peruvian cactus, which started to bloom within days of transplanting! Not only does this cactus produce beautiful flowers, it also produced a bright pink fruit!

2. Our 1 year anniversary
This past July, we celebrated our first year in business! We celebrated with cake, live reggae music from Red, Gold and Green, and prizes! We were also delighted to see many of our customers and friends drop by to share in on our celebration.

3. We met Kate!
This year marked the year that Kate became a member of our team! She has been with us since February and is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to plants. She is the glue that holds the fort together and we love her!

4. A special workshop with a special person!
This past August, we had the honour of having Yosy of Dot Mandalas For Fun, come and host a really fun and relaxing creative workshop of painted mandalas. She is a wonderful teacher and so is her art work.

5. Beach, Breakfast and Macrame workshop with Sparrow & Whale Macrame
This event was the first of many to come! This beautiful bohemian-inspired workshop was dreamy and whimsical, making it our favourite macrame workshop to date.

6. We got on hands on the pink princess!
Any plant lover will understand why this made our top list for 2019! This plant is to die for!

7. Crazy plant ladies.
A most memorable adventure of Kate and Lyndsay as they scope out the area for intriguing wild plants!

8. Moss pole workshop
The first of it's kind! This was a really fun workshop taught by Richard where we got our hands dirty and met some amazing fellow plant lovers!

9. Stepalia Gigantea
One of faves for it's massive and unusual flower. This plant kept giving us bloom after bloom. For sure one of our best finds of the year.

10. Our kokedama workshops taught by Kate have been a real hit since day one! These workshops always bring us new faces and lots of laughs!
There's our top 10 list of best memories for 2019. Thanks to all who made this past year amazing!
Wishing everyone of your a happy and green 2020.
